sorry guys some net went down and i’m trying to get a prepaid conn for the time being from a different isp. the chapter is at 81% and it’ll be posted by 01:00 pm today since i’m at a library trying to finish it up as much i can on my laptop. well i came for some project as well it should be posted by 3-4 pm gmt that would be probably 5 hrs frm now?.
Also its a little depressing after reading this . i don’t know what i did to get this much hate on the first release itself. and also if someone better wants to pick it up go ahead i’ll be ready to drop it.

Haters gonna hate. Just don’t listen to them, you just started translating this project, which in particular has seen quite a number of translators come and go. As the link doesn’t show anything I can’t know what they complained, but I’d assume it’s normal in this particular point in time. Just keep in mind that as there are haters around there are people who appretiate the efforts put in translating this novel. Don’t lose hope, ganbatte!

idk what that page said, since there’s nothing there. But this series has been followed by misfortune and drama. Just ignore what the haters say. If you can translate at least somewhat consistently people will love you for it.

wow i guess there are a few misunderstandings.
first i’m not dropping this. i’ll only drop this in case the previous translaters decide to pick it up and also i’ll try to work to work with them even if its just TLC.
second i don’t care about haters its just that my senpai (last translator) instead of helping out decided to drop out from the series. its a bit disturbing but makes one think about various things that i’m not going to say.
Also this is not a TROLL translation i don’t know who invented this word but no fuck no plz stop okay.

Personally i can see where hes coming from, but on the flip side, i much prefer reading your translation than trying to use MTL. i’ve tried MTL and trying to use it ruined the story within 3 chapters, so i gave up and havent tried again since.
Your translations are much better than raw MTL and is much appreciated, especially since KNW is on the top of my list of favorite LNs, despite there being so many people coming and going on it, which i dont quite understand.

One might also take into consideration the rest of n00b’s post – they’ve been going through a hard time in real life recently, apparently.
And to counter “haters gonna hate”, there’s also “leechers are going to leech, be impatient, and not care about the translator’s motivation/life” in general. The vocal minority, most of the time.
Though in all honesty, comparing rip’s first part of 191 to n00b’s, I’d say n00b put in at least a tad more effort.

Don’t ever lose confidence man, I believe i speak for everyone when i say that we’re 112.5% grateful for what ur doing. Many of us have read translations that would make you cringe and make you say, “wait… wat?” so even if ur translations sucked (which they don’t) we would still be grateful just to be able to read. Also you may wanna burn some incense while translating since this series is kinda cursed lol 😛

But well, I said from the start that I’m translating only as long as nobody else does. I’m lazy, after all. So it’s not like I resent you or anything stupid like that. Looking back, I kinda did the same when I started, and Blaze-tachi went inactive soon after … welp.
Also, well, how should I put this … life is really wearing me out right now. I simply don’t have the energy for a co-op…
But I never said I hate you, I just have — mixed feelings. Resignation, for the most.
And those who commented, well, they’ve been through a lot as well, especially with this “haunted” series … please forgive ’em.

Well about “n00btranslations”, I learned about your page from his post, although he said something about, um, low quality ? of the translation, I didn’t rly notice any problems myself. Well that’s just my opinion as a person who does not understand japanesse, but IMO quality of your translation is good, and well if someone got complains then why they don’t help you edit it or translate it themselves, after all it all takes time and effort to do this.
Sorry for my bad English and long post, hope you wont drop this series.

1) This is the internet, dont expect 0 hate. There is always people hating things for some reason no matter how ridiculous it is.
2) Every light/web novel reader is eternally grateful to all translators no matter how good or bad they are. Why? Because you are the ones that learned another language and translate them. I have no idea of japanese nor chinese so I literally CANT hate anyone. I would be an hypocrite if i did.
3) Don’t pay attention to criticism, you are translating for free, if you like it keep doign it, if you dont then stop. You don’t depend on us, we depend on you and your translations to read the novels we like so if someone ever hates or criticizes you simply reply with “do YOU want to translate? No? Then STFU and read the dang novel”
4) There is no point 4 really, just wanted to thank you for translating and would really appretiate if you kept doign it.
